The water truck operator certification program follows on from the haul/dump truck training course and provides information and guided practice that will equip experienced operators with the skills necessary to demonstrate competence to the minimum national certification standards (NOHSC7019) and to lay the foundation skills of new operators so that they can, in a safe manner, continue to improve their skills and proficiency whilst operating the machine.

- Planning and preparing for operations
- Pre- and post-operational checks
- Start up and shut down procedures
- Establish a watering plan
- Loading from standpipes
- Hauling fluid loads
- Distributing water
- Operator maintenance
Upon successful completion of this course, student will be awarded the Statement of Attainment and a wallet-size card* inclusive of the Nationally Accredited course information, student name and course attended date.

TRAINING DETAILS:
Start Time: 8:00 am (Please arrive 15 minutes earlier for registration and ID checked)
Entry Requirement: At least 18 years of age and has basic level of English proficiency (written and communication)
Delivery: Face to Face training and assessment in a simulated workplace environment
Payment Mode: Cash, credit card, purchase order
What to bring: 1 Photo ID
(e.g. Driver’s Licence, Passport (current or expired no more than 2 years), WA proof of age card or other Australian Government issued ID card with photo)
Clothing: Long sleeve shirt, long pants and safety boots
Training Location: Client’s premises
