Skills Training & Engineering Services P/L (RTO#50091) offers a five-day CO course that provides participants to gain the necessary skills to safely operate a mobile slewing crane, over 100 tonnes, as described in the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work. On completion of the course participants will be able to perform pre-operational checks; set-up and operate the crane competently; shut down and dismantle and perform various operations competently.
This 5-day course is designed for student who: – Is new to the resources or construction industry who wish to obtain the CO High Risk Licence – Currently working in the resources or construction industry who wish to extend their skill set to include the CO High Risk Licence but have no prior experience in using a crane (over 100 tonnes).
STES also provides the training for students who are currently working in the crane industry, have prior experience in using crane (with current service logbook) and wish to attain their High Risk Work Licence or are seeking to renew an expired HRW Licence with a shorter course duration.
In addition, upon successful completion of this course, student will be awarded a Statement of Attainment and the High Risk Work License* to Operate a Slewing Mobile Crane (Over 100 tonnes) by WorkSafe WA.
(* STES will only submit student’s WorkSafe application and issue SOA after full payment is received)
TRAINING DETAILS:
Start Time: 8:00 am (Please arrive 15 minutes earlier for registration and ID checked)
Entry Requirement: At least 18 years of age, has basic level of English proficiency (written and communication)
Delivery: Face to Face training and assessment in a simulated workplace environment
Payment Mode: Cash, credit card, purchase order
What to bring: 1 Photo ID and 1 Secondary ID, Current WorkSafe Licence Card
(e.g. Driver’s Licence, Passport (current or expired no more than 2 years), WA proof of age card or other Australian Government issued ID card with photo) AND (e.g. Medicare Card, current credit card or ATM card, telephone, gas, electricity account not more than 12 months old)
Clothing: Long sleeve shirt, long pants and safety boots
